dim display on hvac fix
Just wanted to say thanks for all the great write-ups on how to do the fix on the display on the hvac. It went great, although, I did have a friend with a steady hand do the soldering for me. Mine had the 241's all lined up in 2 rows like one of the pic's showed. Thanks again to all the help on the forum.

Me too, I had to use a battery powered one and couldnt find my solder.
i didnt think it was going to heat up enough due to bad batteries, but i went ahead and just ran it down each side of those resitors and plugged it back inthe car and it works again !
I think it just needed a lil bit of heat to get it to do the job.
