Hey guys....car is out of storage and in my garage at home, and I can't get the right side power window to go down. I just here a faint click when I press the button...tried both buttons.
Is there a fuse or relay? I looked under the hood and in the passenger kick panel and cannot find a PWR WDW fuse or relay...
There is a fair amount of discussion on this subject... If you search you'll find some... There are several things that might help... It's a common problem with the C5... Good luck..

I just bought a 1997 vette and mine does the same thing clicks but will not go down, if you find any answers please let me know. Thanks and good luck. I will try and research this myself and let you know if I find anything. In the mean time if someone reads this and can help us out please do so. I was told to hold the button down at the same time I slam the door but this did not work.
Guys, don't panic. This is pretty common and I was able to find a simple fix on this forum. I remember having to remove a few screws from the door and a small panel which exposed the bottom of the window motor. Once that is exposed, stick a screwdriver inside and give it a few light whacks with another tool, like a wrench or pliers or hammer. It's worked on 2 separate occasions for me and the motor hasn't failed again in over 3 years.
Do a forum search as well as a google search. You'll find the thread and the simple fix.
The fix is easy and somewhat permanent.
Open the door and pull the accordion. You will find a male and female plug together in there. What the problem is....the pins occasionally work there way back out of the female so the best way to fix this is to have one person reach in from between the doors and another reach in from under the dash through the entry hole behind the kick panel ans shove the two plugs back together, but shove them together by the wires just behind each plastic plug and the one that slipped out will relock.
Problem solved!!!
