Only 33 degrees here and still salt on the roads, but I just couldn't wait any longer so I unplugged the battery tender and took her out for a ride. Felt sooooo good and she ran like a champ. I could tell, she wanted to go too, being cooped up in a cold dark garage all winter. Poor baby.
I feel your pain! I took mine out yesterday to drop her off for new valve springs. 20F when I started her up, got up to maybe 30F by the time I got to the shop. Calling for chance of snow on Friday when I'm due to pick her up. Only 20+F below average right now, no need for concern
I told myself in November that i would wait until April 1st.....And its calling for rain/snow this weekend....I couldnt be more sad.... Oh well. Its been almost 5 months...I can wait a few more days!!
Same here... As long as there is no snow... we go!
The thing is?...in the northeast?...the snow and cold temps end up freezing the ground and causing "frost heaves".... very large potholes. my brother hit one last week in his acura that actually popped the tire off the rim and bent the rim so bad that it was too far gone to try and repair.
I assume with low profile tires and aluminium wagon wheels?...i dont stand a chance against these "frost heaves".....And if it rains? good luck hitting a puddle. Because youll never know how deep it is until its too late
Chilly in Jersey, but I took mine out the other day. Didn't drop the top but still great......just had to navigate the over the top number of potholes...............
