After reading, there was a sigh of relief. I'm certainly hoping you install the projectors soon, seeing as an HID kit in a stock housing is terribly blinding to oncoming traffic.
It does look much better than stock, but again, terrible for others on the road.

Learn how to aim your lights and there isn't a problem...
35w HID's are fine in the stock housings. I drove it for a few months. Only been flashed by on commming traffic twice. I just recently went with projectors and its a night and day difference still even over hid's in stock housings.

Stock housings weren't meant for HID's, for proper use a projector is required. Yes, you can "aim your lights," but you've essentially wasted your money, because the light output is no where near its full potential.
Anyone who's put HID's in stock housings (with no projector mind you) aimed or otherwise, shouldn't be using them in the first place.

Yes it is. I had them and no matter how low I adjusted them oncoming cars were blinded and flashed me. I did not want to be pulled over by a LEO at night for it so I took them out.

I've had HID's in the stock(properly adjusted) housings for a year and a half now and I've never been flashed by oncoming drivers.
But,maybe they were just being polite.....
When HID's are installed in stock housings, the horizontal angle must be adjusted along with the vertical-just "lowering" them is only half the job.
