speedo quit working....a question???

speedo quit working....a question???
shop changing fluids and got back no speedo, could they have disconnected something in trans area??? before taking it back I want to be armed with info and not make myself look stupid

probably disconnected the connector on the top of the rear diff 
you could probably jack up the rear a little bit and feel around right above the rear diff and there should be a plug that goes into the sensor. You can do it yourself or make them go under there and fix it
