Default Electrical Problem 2000 convertible

I got in my car yesterday and started up fine after a while the computer said
check engine
check tires
and check all kinds of stuff
then oil pressure gage went to 0!
electric windows would not work

Turned engine off
Then everything worked fine
This happened 4 or 5 times
right now seems ok

want to run a code check

Has any one had this problem

Not specificaly but I have had every warning light and a bunch of messages come up while I was driving. Stopped...waited....restarted . . .everything fine. It was a bad crimp on one of the of the battery cables (bolts tourqued properly but crimp on the lug had play, the cable would break contact as it moved, felt fine...looked fine).

So as with any electrical issue on a car with nine computers, Id probably start with making sure the battery, and all connections were good, and the ground packs werent corroded. Even if thats not it, it cant hurt.

Good luck

Run the codes and post here. Delete any code identified as "H" (history) as they are no longer relevant.

This will help if you don't have a listing of the codes:

http://www.stengel.net/diccodes.htmnger relevant.

There were no codes present
I am loosing power only in the drivers door
window,locks,mirror.
somtimes it all works and sometime nonthing

gages all shut down and check engine, abs, tractionlight up

low tire pressure, loss of power and different read outs.

turn key off and on and the dash is ok but, maybe not the door .
little while later dash will act up.

I pulled the rubber boot from the door and disconnected the wire horness.
Examined and found a couple of the female sockets looked to be opened too wide.
Closed them up and repluged horness.
Car has been working fine for a week.

Thanks so much for your help.

Wayne.
