It started with my stock headlights. They made a noise after going down and looked into it to find that the gear was chipped. Not wanting this to happen again i replaced the plastic gears with a brass one. The headlight motor no longer worked. I accidentally opened the magnet which is easily damaged and i proceeded to get new headlight motors. I tested them before i took off my headlights then took off my headlights. I put one back on to make sure and it didn't turn. I put the other one on and it didn't turn. what could be wrong. It doesn't seem like its the motor i switch the sides of the motor and still nothing. I don't think the motor stopped working after taking it off and putting it back on. how should i test this? do i turn my car off and start it up or is there something else? do i need the headlights attached for it to work. Man this is making me really mad because working on electrical equipment for as long as i have the troubleshooting doesn't show anything. Do i need both headlights attached or what please let me know if someone knows anything about this subject. Thank you.
I have found the problem and i am sorry. I almost broke something in my anger to find i disconnected the cables under the passenger side headlight and did not reconnect them since the box is bolted to the headlight frame when i removed the headlight i took away power to the headlight motor.
Wish I could be of more help......but if you haven't done it yet, I would post this in the Tech section. Some real experts over there that may be able to assist. Good luck.

Ha. After replacing my headlights motor this many times and ripping off my headlights I have it down lol. Hopefully with the brass gears I won't have to change it for a while. Funny I would probably be in a better mood when I found out they weren't working. I have 2 sets of plastic gears though and 2 broken electric motors. I should probably give them away. I dont know how to fix this one. I know someone can.
