Default C5 jacking ramp pics?

I just finished some jacking pucks based on ALXLTD1's thread. They were real easy to make. However, my jack won't fit under the car. What do you guys use to help with this? I would prefer not to buy a low profile jack at this point. Thanks.

i just built some. Except I used 3/4 inch press board plywood. 4 layers. and I cut each layer at 45 degrees. each ramp is 4 feet long.

If you want pics of mine I can take some. Ramps have always scared me (had a BAD experience) So I made mine longer with less inclines and bumps. To make it smoother and more room for error.

I also just bought a low pro jack from harbor freight. 120 bucks on sale. Aluminum. 4000 pounds

When you drive it to the spot you want to jack it up just drive it up on a 2X6 or 8. The rise will allow you to use most any standard jack under the car.

It's better just to buy a low profile jack even though you said you would prefer not to. It's easier than buying the boards and having to put them out every time just to jack the car up.

Get one of these and be done with it... $79:

my car doesnt fit under with just a low pro jack. I needed ramps too.

When I was there, I was going to get the one you pictured. But when I picked up both of them, I was sold on spending extra. Not to mention the handle is better, and the jacking pad is MUCH better on the aluminum. worth the extra money.

Just drive it up on a couple pieces of wood. I keep a couple small sheets of plywood with my jack. I drive up on those and then use the jack. Its easy enough and for me free since I had a bunch of wood laying around.

You can make a set of ramps to help with the clearance issues. I've got a few files on homemade ramps - if you'd like a copy, PM me your e-mail address.
