Default rear differential

have had the fluid changed constantly. The noise sounds like the bottom of the car is falling out .I have an 08. Just recentely the dealer changed the whole rear differential and the noise is still there.

The car is still under warranty. Contacted GM and was told there is nothing they can do. So what is the warranty worth? I thought GM was better than that. They said too bad.

My thinking would be if the dealer replaced the complete differential assembly. With a completely different differential assembly and you have the exactly the same problem it isn't the differential. I would have another shop/dealer inspect your car for a second opinion. Then you can decide how to proceed.

Did you use a friction modifier for the rear diff? Its a very common problem.

C6's are much worst then C5's.

You might get more help if you post this in the C6 General forum considering you have a 2008 model.
