Well I made the big step and bought a new 2010 red Grand Sport convertible. Loved my 2001 but when I told the wife I was going to buy a new Harley she said I already had one and then she said why don't you buy a Grand Sport. So we now own one but I would rather have the new Harley & my 2001. So I will now sign off but will come back and check once in a while

I just sold my 2008 Goldwing that i bought new. I also sold my pop-up camper I pulled with the wing. This was a very difficult thing for me to do but at 65 & after riding motorcycles 50 plus years I just felt it was time for me to hang it up. In all my years of riding I never went down. If i would go down at this stag in my life, it would hurt, hurt a lot! That along with the fact that my wife isn't able to ride anymore, it was the right thing for me to do.
Will I miss motorcycles, you bet. Will I be able to retire my leathers - time will tell.

I'm 63 and will not give up my leathers yet. Like you riding for 45 yrs. and never dropped it. Still go out and cruise on my Harley (with the wife) but only put 3000 miles on last year (8000 on the Vette).

I put 12,000 on the wing last year - I use to ride 20/25 thousand a year - My wife rode second seat for 48 years - she pretty much had to gave it up 2 years ago - she has MS & this past winter wasn't kind to her - After that many years having her with me it just wasn't the same - We have to take the cards that are delt to us & try to make the best hand we can - Tom
It's taken 6 years for me to get used to the fixed headlights, but I love the C6 GS. The wide body, LS3, and side gills are awesome! Enjoy the new ride, I'm a bit jealous!

I'll admit I was drooling over a Crystal Red GS the other day, and a white one, and a couple of ZR1's.
It will be really hard for me to not buy a used C6 Z06 or GS when I can afford it, but I am keeping the C5 said my wife, it is our first and will be the dedicated race car someday.
