Would this be a sin?
I just bought another C5 - this is my 4th Corvette that I have owned.
I have always been a custom guy- I'm a gun & knife engraver, I like my stuff customized and have been a motor head all my 65 years.
This C5 is a 2001 convertible with only 7,200 miles on it. The car is 100% stock and is as mint as any 2001 Corvette in the world.
I'm thinking about keeping it pure stock & to be honest I don't know if I can do this but I do think it might be kind of cool - Would this be a sin not to change the exhaust or intake or ? What you think? Tom

No, it would not be. I would change the exhuast though. It's easy to change that back.
Good luck

Me, I'd just drive it. Mine has Magnaflows on it and I wish it was stock. I don't care for the noise anymore.

Change whatever you want, just keep the original parts for swap back if you ever need them.
I will trade my stock exhaust for a magnaflow anyday!!!

I'd keep it stock. There is a lot of mod fever here, but it seems to me that car deserves to remain stock.

I have a nice set of stock mufflers and I live in Rockford IL. We could meet some place to do a sale. $75.00 and I will drive half way to you

With all the mods going on, you would probably be surprised at how many stock (or near stock) cars are here.

Nice thing about any year of Corvette, you can leave it totally stock and it is still a thing of beauty.

I put Borla's on the last C5 & they were pretty good - I have magaflow's on my PU & it's starting to bug me - The borla's didn't kick in unless you hammered it - I'm leaning toward stock - It's been stock for 10 years!

It looks nice and clean. You can keep it stock, however the more time you spend on this forum, the harder it becomes to keep it that way!
