Default Help - all gauges not working, reduced engine power etc.

Today I had a shop install a new oil sending unit and on the drive home check gauges started flashing, dic says reduced engine power, check tire pressure, low fuel, all guages set to zero. I did go through a touchless car wash could something have gotten wet. How do I trouble shoot?

I would disconnect and then reconnect the battery. Also, go into the DIC and bring up the codes and post here. We can give you better info with the codes.

Check the codes BEFORE disconnecting the battery ! Or else you may loose the codes.

Codes

10-PCM I forgot to put this one down

40-BCM B2721 U1016 U1096

58-SDM B1001 U1016 U1096

60-IPC U1016 U1088 U1176 U1160

28-TCS U1016

I reset the codes and went for a 20 minute drive , no codes yet. I have not disconnected the battery, should I do that?

Thanks Robert I did that and it appears most of them are communication issues with the PCM. Hopefully something got wet at the car wash as all seems fine now.

Mine did this months back. I read the how-to on the liquid electric tape for the bare wire inside the door harness. It just now returned yesterday. Except in my case the radio cuts off and windows stop working. Traction control shuts off and the only gauges that work are battery volts, speed, and rpm. When I turn off the car and back on its back to normal until next time.

It is rather alarming when it happens. Thankful the wifey wasn't driving she would have freaked.
