Default HELP w/Blackwing install

Here I sit with my Blackwing but I am missing something since I bought it in th F/S section. All I have is the filter nothing else. MY MAF is 3 1/2" in diameter and the Blackwing opening is 4" when it sits in the car the lip of the MAF fits all the way into the filter so I assume I am missing some kind of rubber that goes onto the MAF so it fits tight into the Blackwing. Anyone know? Where can I find it? I can get close with a 3" plumbing coupler but it is too thick to fit into the Blackwing all the way. I went to the parts store they have nothing that is 3 1/2" in filter couplers just 3&4". I am stuck

I was told this came from a 99 car but from what I have found the 97-00 Blackwing had a rubber coupler not a solid neck like I have so I believe I have an 01-04 filter. Question still stands any ideas to make it work?

Here is a How-to from another forum on the Blackwing install. It may give you the info you need.

If you see what you are missing, try contacting a vendor like Corvettes of Houston and see if they have the part you need.

Thank you that is exactly what I need the LS1 Maf adapter. Using duct tape wrapped around MAF right now. It is a very tight fit but I will look for the MAF adapter.
