Car is at the body shop and I am looking for input. Presently, my ZO6 is black but with the TPE Front and Rear Flares; Tiger Shark nose and splitter; l5 splash guards; CCW 16a's with gun metal centers, etc, etc. have decided to paint the whole car.
Now I have a decision to make - stay all Black except for the carbon fiber center in my hood or look to change colors.
While it has not been finalized I am leaning towards a Cherry Black with either a silver or gold pearl accent (like a full bodied Cabernet) or black with silver pearl accent Interior is also being done in a cork leather and at this point only the interior door panels have been completed. If you want to see car to date check out "Final Stages" and it will show car prior to going to the body shop.
To consider: I am conservative and like classic and slightly understated.
Would appreciate input and/or pictures. Thanks, D. Quagliaorli

Reason: more information
I would stick with Black for a number of reasons.
Less chance of seeing that the color was changed.
All panels, trim etc. has been removed. Interior is out and in the process of being redone. Body shop is #1 and we have agreed nothing less than perfection will be accepted. Owner is 100% committed
Step outside the box and use you photography expertise to help me based on my comments.
The Lambo Orange isn't me but after looking at it I was happily surprised. Still not the exact look I want to achieve.
i think im kinda in your shoes my color is spiral grey and i added a hood and front fenders and im thinkig of just repainting my whole car electron blue my other favorite color ,but i doubt i will change my color
I WOULD DO THE CHERRY BLACK
If you change your color, just figure on losing $3K when you get ready to sell it.

Car will not be sold - Best situation it would be passed on to my son or grandson. Next, I have so much into it that I would part it out because I would get more for it that way.
But it's not about dollars - it's about having the car the way I want it when done.
A little backwards but the interior is in the process of being done in a nice cork leather which I love. This limits the paint a little bit but I knew what the interior should look like and will use that as my appearance base.
I appreciate all the comments but only have until Tuesday to make a decision on color so if you have ideas please pass them on to me. Pictures would be even better.

How about a Golden Brown DuPont Chromalusion Paint? I think with the lines of a C5 it would look great.
Just thought I would throw it into the mix

I love the House of Kolor Tangelo Pearl!
I saw this on a 69 Camaro last year and its amazing. I had pics of this one below saved
would give you an idea with the color of wheels you have and the TS front
not sure what exact color this one is
Bill. not lacking creativity and certainly out of the box. I really did have to research to get a better feel. I'm probably just to conservative and I know my wife wouldn't ride in it. We're just traditional East Coast Seniors. Thanks, Doug
