My 2002 corvette with the dual zone heat/air on the passenger side is not working. The dial that changes the temp when you rotate it does not move the degrees. Also the a/c light stays on when the heat/air is on even after I push the botton to turn it off. Dealer says the entire unit needs replacing for a cost of 700.00. Does anyone have any info on this. Drivers side works great, thanks, Steve.

I always found the climate control in the C5 to be a bit cumbersome...I now just leave the air off and drive fast with the top off to get cooled down, lol (joking)
Thank you for this thread. I was ready to replace my climate control unit because I thought it was bad since the passenger side **** seems to be useless. Well, it is useless, but it seems to be performing its useless function as intended.
I've had other multi-zone vehicles that actually did something, so this kinda confused me.
Before you jump into making changes, what specifically isn't working? Is the passenger side blowing hot and the driver size cool? The passenger adjustment **** only changes the temperature by 4 or 5 degrees. Hard to tell if it's really working. It doesn't change the digital readouts.
