Haha! Seems like I left out the most common use, including my own. I guess most of us enjoy our weekend cruisers.
I see HPDE (High Performance Driving Event) as casual, usually dual-purpose, take it to the track a few times a year. I see road race as a spec car conforming to some race association guidelines.

I drive mine every chance I get. As long as the weather is nice I take it to work daily. If it's raining or snowing it stays in the garage. No garage queen here!
