Default DTC P0751 1-2 Shift Solenoid Valve Performance

Corrected code: DTC P0751 1-2 Shift Solenoid Valve Performance

I have an aftermarket TC (3000stall)
and this is the first time the code popped up since owning. (the previous owner installed it)

Do I need to worry about this at all? I just deleted it because I had found a thread saying to do that. I did a quick search. But why does it pop up? If it wont harm anything then I dont care. Just wanted to be sure. Thanks!

Have a few questions.

When was the last time the TF was changed?
when was the last time you did a tranny flush?
How hot has this tranny gotten?

When I had my stock tranny and I over heated it, I got his code the very next day. I had the tranny flushed and new fluid added and I was done.

Now I know a lot of people do not do it. I use CASE tranny oil. Have been for several years now and I have never got this code again, with a stock tranny, or my current RPM.

All in all I would do a flush ASAP, look at what the fluid looks like and take it from there.

The transmission was supposedly replaced 20,000 miles ago. It also has a tranny cooler.
It could not have gotten very hot (was around 50*F here today, drove for about 15 minutes)

i had read that this is a common code with aftermarket TC with higher stalls.
