holy $hit i sent steve a pm asking questions about how it compares to b&m ripper shifter (never replied) . . .i thought i was the only 1 eho hated the b&m. Its so notchy and just sucks in general. . .if this shifter is better ill def be placing an order

For me, reverse is up against the right side of the shift boot, but it is no extra effort and I have yet to have a problem engaging it.
It is light years ahead of my B&M effort wise but mine has more left and right play when in gear.

Ok I hear people not liking the B&M. I have the Hurst shortie in my car, I didn't put it in, the guy before me did. I hate the thing, and would rather have the stock shifter than this thing. It is very Stiff, and Notchey (sp). Finding reverse is always a challene. I am just wondering if it is me or the Hurst Shifter.
I am seriously considering swapping it out and I am pretty sure this is the one I am going to go with, considering all the good words on here.
