jacking a C5 vette

I like to put the jack stands at the jacking points on the frame for the most stability.

If you can get a jack on one of the front radiator supports (fangs) you can lift the front end. I would only do this enough to get jack stands under it, then move your jack to the better point.

The frame is rigid enough to lift the whole front end, I do it all the time.

If you use a 11/2 ton jack you can sneak in under the front of your C5 if you turn the front tire full left. Than manuver the jack in the space between the rear of the tire and the rear of the front fender. If you angel it just right you can pump the jack handle up an down to lift the car. Than I remove the tire to access under the car and put in place adjustable support. you can jact the car high enough to lift both tires off the ground. than the other side is easy to access. Always use supports!!! Correction: Turn the wheels full Right.
