Default Help Removing Buttons from Button Panels

I need help getting buttons out of various button panels.

I have a Trunk/Fog bezel with the Trunk and the Fog buttons.
I just can't seem to be able to get the actual trunk and fog buttons out of the bezel? If there is some kind of trick removing the buttons from the button panel, can some please help me? Can someone please help me get the buttons removed without breaking the buttons and without breaking the button panel?
I also need to remove the traction control button from the traction control plate that it's attached to.
It would be great if someone can help me. It would also be even greater if someone can give me pictures with the instructions on how to do this?
My email is my97c5vette@yahoo.com
Thank you very much
Bruce

Check the instructions on the Vette Essentials web site (www.vetteessentials.com) - under the install for either the gauge bezels or the shift boot/e-brake handle and boot. They will tell you how to get to the items you want and what it takes to remove them from the car.

They are sealed together. You would need to heat them up and use something to pry them apart.

Didn't know that - thanks for clarifying it.

Thanks Anthony
What would you use to heat it?
A hair dryer or is that not hot enough?

I would try a hair dryer and a thin flathead screwdriver. Not sure why you want to remove the buttons and get inside the switches.

The outer shell material is really softe and prone to tearing very easily.
