Oldtimer
I got the last set! Jim gave me a deal I couldn't refuse on a demo unit.
I had almost tapped out my cash reserves buying the 03 Vert, but what's a couple of nights of Top Ramen among friends?
(It wasn't quite THAT bad)

Melting Slicks
I have a couple of questions about this exhaust system.
I have heard the Borla Stingers, but only on cars that had long tube headers and high flow cats or no cats at all and they were obnoxiously loud!!! Definitely don't want that and the LEO attention they will draw! (Don't know what they sound like as just a Cat-back.)
On my last '99 I bought the Corsa Tiger Sharks (not the Touring model, but the ones that were supposed to be louder and weren't). Loved the look, was very disappointed in the volume.
It sounds like these might be right in the middle of these two situations which is what would be ideal for me.
Can anyone give me their comparison opinion of this situation?
I know you can go on the web sites and listen to what they sound like, but that only gives you the quality, not really the actual volume level in a real world situation.
With my Corsa's, $1500.00 later, I was very disappointed!!! I could have been just as happy with the stock exhaust for that kind of money!!
Also considering Z06 Ti's if I can find any at this point. Have heard stock Z's and liked the sound very much, though it could have been a little louder and still would have been very okay.

My ears would agree with your assumption, but like vision, sound is also subjective ("beauty is in the eyes of the beholder")
I would welcome others opinions......
