Is there a DIY method to replace the front corner turn signal bulb when:
1) you don't have ramps or a jack
2) your hand is too big to go through the front brake cooling duct port
3) your hand is too big to snake through the head light gaps
Please see items #2, #3. I appreciate it though. BTW, my daughters smaller hands had trouble because she wasn't sure what to do when she haad her hands on the socket.
You can also unscrew (no jokes about the difference between a pregnant women and a kight buld . . .) the hood stop by the light, It just screws right out and will give you a little more room to get your arm deeper into there.
Good luck
You know, you probably can get one wheel up on a curb and may be able to get in from below, its just three screws and fold the splash guard down from the bumper. You dont even need to be under the car, your head just has to fit to be able to see what your doing. Chock the wheels with something.

1. First raise the headlight manually. Disconnect the power to the headlight
2. Remove the plastic shield on the headlight. There are three screws which hold it.
3. If necessary remove front hood rubber bumper.
4. At this point you should be able to reach into the bumper and get to the bulb. My hands are not exactly small and I can reach and change my bulbs by using this method.

BINGO We have a winner. It is just as easy as the brake duct method. Remove the painted top too all kinds of room after that.

Yep. I have large hands. Remove plastic shroud around headlamps and hood bumper as suggested. From there it was a piece of cake. Thanks to all. BTW I did try again to get my hands through the duct opening and realized I still have big hands.
