Ditto that. Rubbing in a coat of polish on a 'Vette is like putting suntan lotion on a woman, not some guy with a hairy back. Besides, why else would they sell bras or speed lingerie for them?

Makes me wonder, if it's blown, is it a "he"; if it's got a blower is it a "she"? What if you get a head polished? or you polish a head or two? I won't even get into stroked vs. stroker...I think I'll call it "the vette" to avoid the confusion.

I too generally refer to it as the vette,,but sometimes,,as in online conversation,,I will refer to it as she or my baby.After all,,even huge battle ships were referred to as she,,not to mention the classic "She's real fine my 409"!! No disgrace in calling her a she!!
