Is the 2002-2004 ZO6's power underrated from the factory?
Just like the title says.... is the 2002-2004 ZO6's power underrated from the factory? According to Wikipedia it is by 20 HP. I'm fairly new to the ZO6 and was just curious what you have to say.

Quick answer....no, But you can always be optimistic.
Edited to add: The wiki link is correct, it's 405hp at the crankshaft, not rwhp.

Wikipedia can be updated by anyone. I say that not to disparage their content but just that if I wanted to I could go to that same page and change that to say "GM underated the Z06 by 40 HP" Doesn't make it so.

yep, many z have been dyno tested, the majority are where they are suppose to be.
a lot of this is castles in the air, i believed at one time that they were underrated as well, but a few freaks may come out of the factory back in the day, but tolerance for build are very tight now, on occasion a freak may come out, just like a ghost in the machine.
