Really looks good. Any problem with higher coolant temps?
I haven't experienced any higher temps, but I haven't really put my foot into it since the lip was put on. I will know for sure in a week when I head to the track.

Yes this is the newer design , with the thinner mounting points.
If it's carbon fiber it's too cool for school Fix the exhaust and any na sayers will change their tune besides what really counts is I like it haha.. Seriously very nice
Looks nice. I would love to see a close up of the revised/smaller vertical support bars. That was the one design element I did not like on the original version of this splitter and I'm glad they corrected it.
I actually had a friend install the lip as it was not pre-drilled, and I did not have the tools for the job. The instructions call for drilling, and said you could use the oem bolts, however he ended up drilling an additional hole on each side for added stability. There were no fitment problems, overall it took him 2 hours. As far as down force I haven't had a chance to open it up. I will be heading to the track next week, so we will see if it makes a difference. I am assuming it wont, as it is more of a cosmetic piece more than anything else.
If you are talking about the OME bolts that hold the stock rubber air dams, I would be a little concerned. I have an ACI splitter on my C5 and it came not only pre-drilled, but also with all the mounting hardware. The only existing hole that was used as the outer bolt hole for each side air dam/spoiler and then I had to remove the clip that the OME bolt went into and install a much bigger and stronger fastener and bolt. Also the OME bolt location are much further back under the nose and could possibly allow the splitter to flex at high speed.
It is a nice looking piece and I would order one, but I already have the ACI and It is out to American Hydrocarbons to get dipped. I will take a few pictures when it comes back showing the bolts supplied and where the new mounting location is compared to the stock OME bolts.

For mounting I would suggest buying bigger bolts at home depot. I added about 10 to mine and it's not going anywhere.
I know a lot of people are scared to drill in their C5, but it's really simple. You don't need a template or directions. Once you have it under the chin you will know where to drill.

Gotcha, sounds good this lip actually mounts inside the wheel wells, It comes with mounting hardware, that can be inserted where oem
bolts are already present. but we decided to drill additional holes and
insert more bolts for added security.

Yea this version appears to be thinner, here is a very poor picture to give you some idea. I don't think too much attention is drawn to vertical support bars now, they are a bit noticeable, but not to the point where it looks bad IMO .

Message vendor Quick zo6 , you can also do a search on the forum for c5r lip or c5r lip group buy. I got mine through a group buy, I believe he runs them fairly often. Price was 375 + 85 shipping I believe. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply . Now that it's getting hotter outside, I've noticed higher coolant temps. Not so much highway, it used to run 187* at 70/80/90mph, now it's running 190-192*, stop and go traffic I've noticed 212*. All are acceptable, just an observation.
