I need opinions on tires for my 02 coupe. After numerous sets of Michelins pilot sports a/s zp's I've had enough of the early wear on the center band on the rears. Am looking at either the new Michelin PS2's or the Goodyears F1's, although the reviews I've read on Tire Rack site don't favor the Goodyears. Was told they don't make the Goodyear Eagle EMT anymore, like the ones on my wifes 50th AE. Been replaced with the F1. Anyone have any experience with either one of these? Oh, and I'm staying with run-flats only. Thanks.
After hours of research on run flats...I ended up going with the Firestone Wide Ovals from tire rack, and couldn't be happier!
They're much much quieter than the Goodyear F1's and provides a nice smooth ride. They also got pretty good reviews on Tirerack as well. I cannot comment on wear...only have about 1000 miles on them so far. Good luck on the search!

I ran a set of Firestone Firehawks RFTs on my '00 and really liked them. The tires have been discontinued from what I understand but places like the Tire Rack show a few still in stock on closeout. Might want to consider them.
