What tire pressure are you running?

I have gone to non run flats...18/19's this week. The tire shop put 45 psi in them says I should run 45 psi in them. I think that is way too much and my sensors do also as they are coding that the pressure is too high. I just deflated them to 35 this evening. The tires don't say on them... only max pressure you can run. I am just curious what pressure some of you guys are running in your non run flats.

After 6k miles on my new Hankook V12 Evos @ 30psi, the outsides have worn slightly more then the centers. I'm going to try 32psi for a few thousand miles and see how that goes.

The SECOND I drove off of the lot at the tire shop, I too couldn't believe how much softer and "squishier" the Hankooks were compared to the OEM runflats. I'm in the minority, because I actually loved the handling with the runflats. The car drove like it was on rails. Yes, how loud the runflats were drove me nuts, and the price too (I would never buy them at that price,) but handling-wise, the runflats won hands down for me.

Well I guess you could always use the old chalk trick. Get a big piece of sidewalk chalk and run a line across the tread sidewall to sidewall when the tire is hot. Drive a block or two and look at the chalk mark and see where it's wearing and adjust from there.

Tire pressure
Your are sooo right. That was my first tip off that they were over inflated. They rode as bad or worse than the run flats they replaced. By the time I got home my sensors were showing they were over inflated. I never guessed they were at 45 lbs. After lowering them back to normal the ride was MUCH improved.

I emailed the tire vendor directly (for my Z06, Murano, and GTI)
Gave them my tire type, size, and vehicle they are mounted on.
I'm running 19/19 CCW's with Continental tires (275/30-19, 305/30-19). I wanted to know for sure.
They should have all the specs of my vehicle (weight). I also included my vehicle weight in my email anyway.
They all responded within 24hrs exactly what PSI I should be running for optimum tire wear.
They said 32 in the front and 30 in the rear.

I got the original C6 Run flat 18/19 and last year i raised it to 42psi, i think the car handles better at least with the run flat tire.
i had 34psi before.
But you are right, it is too high but for me it was perfect. (i switch the tires more often maybe but...)
