Default How sweet it is!

I just removed my Vette from storage after 5 months of storage.I disconnected the battery, which is a no no I am told.I also bought a set of stock wheels from a forum member.I was concerned that the sensors would not work with my car.
When I put it away I had active /abs crap going on.
EVERY thing worked FINE.
The wheel sensers are off 2 to 3 lbs, but they work?
The weather was great so I put the top down and enjoyed the Vert.
Jackie Gleason was right!!!! How sweet it is.

Ditto - have had the battery out since November and car was stored in a climate controlled unit. Installed the battery - cranked it over and it started on the first try.

Yesterday the weather was in the sixties put the top down and went for a nice ride. "How sweet it was"

I saw the hood off your "rocketship vette" in St Pete's. I love the picture of your grandkids. I am the fellow who bought the wheels and top from you and I have the wheels on already. They look so much better than the chrome that was there before and I am having the top installed next week.

Isnt it just the greatest feeling to start and take your Corvette for a drive after so long in storage. Had mine out Thursday after 5 months in hibernation

I won't know for a couple of weeks, my storage unit after 16 years has developed mud sink holes leaving all of us stranded for at least another week.

I can't believe that I, and obviously you guys, live in this cold sh..t. I really miss my car all winter! Thankfully I have my Polaris, which is almost as fast!

Dan, glad your happy with the transaction. When the top is installed you need to post pictures. The car you saw is now in the body shop being painted,House of Kolor black wild cherry pearl, and should be ready for me when I get down there on Thursday. Can't wait to get it on the dyno and finally drive for a week before putting it in storage. Will be doing the complete interior during the next six months.

Hope you had a great vacation while in the States and enjoyed the Florida weather. Doug Q.
