I used some for the first time last week. I have chrome c6 wheels. and didnt like the "spotting" that showed up on the chrome. After it dried, you couldnt tell it was there, I'll see how well it holds up after a 300 mile drive tomorrow (going to a car show) I dont plan to hit any puddles or anything though.
I paid 8 bucks for it (im sure you can find it much cheaper) when i repaint the calipers ill spray the inside because its super ugly in there.

Dawn will strip every bit of polish you put on your paint... Its good if you really want to strip your car of polish. Not the best idea to do every time though.
As part of the Zaino process they recommend using Dawn to remove all wax that is presently on car. While I love to clean my car waxing every time I wash it would be a bit much.
Glad you tried the Armorall and look forward to your comments. Not a fan but always try to stay open to new ways.
If anyone else has tried I would appreciate your thoughts as well. Thanks,

I use Rejex on my wheels and it works awesome - one treatment in the spring and never have to do it again. Brake dust just rinses off when I wash the car each weekend.
I also use Dawn in the Spring to get my car ready for clay bar but would never use it otherwise.
FYI - I put 2 coats of Rejex on each Spring and that's it for the season - it's an awesome product - I apply 2 coats to the entire car including windshield, windows, wheels, exhaust tips. I have read that others take their wheels off and Rejex the barrels with great results.
Saw a ad in the Jun issue of Automobile for Eagle One A2Z wheel cleaner & Keep Clean Wheel spray on products. Any one used them & what are your comments if any. The ad has a coupon rebate & I'm wondering if I should give them a try. Tks.
Funny, because I think Armor All has a negative reputation when it comes to car care. Personally, I don't think it's that bad.
I used Armor All on my Camaro IROC back in the 80s when I was young and stupid(er). It kept my dash nice although it was too shiney by my standards today.
I still use it regularly on the wife's mini-van and I even use it on my tires. The regular Armor All (not the tire shine) works well when you apply it with a sponge to take away most of the extra tire shine.
I use 303 on the dash and other interior vinyl and Adams Leather conditioner/cleaner on the seats. All good stuff!
I put Hawk HPS pads on last year and love the pads for performance, but man oh man the dust! That dust attaches within minutes on a clean wheel even with a good waxing! I picked up on a thread last year on CF that someone had recommended the AA Wheel Protectant, and AA had a rebate on it going so I tried it. First time I used it, I did not read the directions fully and sprayed it on partially wet wheels and was not too happy with it as it made the wheels look cloudy. The second time I did better with directions - applied it to dry wheels the next day after washing and before driving again. I was shocked at how well this stuff repels the brake dust now. Night and day difference for me! I have the polished factory thin spokes and I use this stuff every time now. Also, I figured out that it actually stays on during a washing if I don't take a sponge to the wheel itself. So, if the wheels look ok and all I need is to wash up to clean up dust/pollen on the car, I can sometimes skip having to reapply between washings. Finding this stuff was a stroke of good luck for me. My .02 ...

Just finished reading up on the Rejex and it appears to be very impressive. Would like to know if any other members have any experience with using it?
Their corrusion product also appears to have several uses that would really help maintain certain car parts.
If anyone has any experience with this product please jump in and share your experience.

If you try doing a search on Rejex I think you will find plenty of threads on it. A 16 oz bottle of Rejex costs appox $22. One of the vendors here on the forum , Autogeek , sells Rejex. I just bought a couple bottles of it Saturday for me and a buddy.
Very easy to apply and take off - makes the car super slippery !!
