Default C6 shifter on a C5...

I have a C6 shifter that was just taken off of my car on Thursday. I am considering selling it. Before I put it up for sale, I would like to know if it is something that C5 guys typically upgrade to. I know that the C6 Z06 shifter is a common upgrade, but Im not sure if it is any different that the stock C6 shifter. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

Clearly a winner in my book... Looks and performs better than the stock unit.

It's a great improvement over the stock C5 shifter.

Is the shifter boot a problem? Can the stock C5 boot be modified or does it fit OK?

So are you saying that the stock C6 shifter is the same shifter that is in the C6Z06?

you have rig the stock c5 boot a bit but it works just fine for me
you can also buy some nice aftermarket boots to fit the modified shifter.
