Default Got a question for you LED guys

Alright, I tried searching on several different computers and keep getting the same error code and not allowing me to search for some reason and tried different search entries to just see if it was the words I was typing, but anyways I have the ''super bright'' LED 6-Watt LED reverse lights and I installed them during the winter so I never really took the vette out and never took it out at night since. So tonight was the first night I actually had it out at nighttime and the LED reverse lights stay on? I ended up taking them out so I didn't get hassle by the Chicago cops since I was going down there.

Any reason why these won't go off and how to get them to go off? I know I've heard some people say LED lights stay lit or dimly lit after you turn them off because it is using less power than the normal ''yellow'' lights.

Thanks

i've had that problem when installing a custom set of LEDs for my tigershark reverse lights.

what i did to allievate the situation is to tie a regular 12v incandescant light into the reverse light wiring. i then tucked the light safely away in the area behind the rear fascia.

this bulb acts as a resistor and completely shuts off the LEDs when they were dimly lit while the car was turned on but not placed in reverse gear.
