I forgot where i got mine, but i use a c6 shift **** on the OEM C5 shifter. Works great to me. It seems about the same height as the OEM shifter. Just it feels much better in your hand. You could always cut the threads on the shifter if you want it shorter (it wont effect the throw, just a shorter shifter). I've heard of a lot of people doing that. I haven't but then again i'm thinking of going for a short shifter to get the shorter throws sometime in the future.

If you just want to put on a C6 **** you can get a modified one here.

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/foru...l-posting.html

If you want to get a whole new shifter assembly (which I recommend) then get one from one of the forum vendors like Gene at GMPartsHouse or Kevin at PartsTaxi

If you get a C6 shifter assembly you will need a new boot or modify your current one. If you choose to get a new boot you can get one that is already modified from Vette Essentials or Redline Goods.
