I never said that I was. I was stating a fact. I been up against many Mustang's/Cobra's at the track. I know them very well since I have modded and worked on many of them in my day.

Such a typical internet bench racer. And no...chances are you would not even have come close. But of course you probably assume that my car was stock and never saw the track...where it pretty much lived.

First off, your in a Corvette forum. What did you think the responses would be. If you wanted sincere answers you should loose your avatar and keep it for the mustang forum and don't even think of posing anything negative about Corvettes in this forum no matter what other posters say. You are correct that C5's can be gottten relatively cheap compared to a new Corvette, but the same holds true for a 97 Mustang compared to a 2011 and You can be sure that mustangs that age do not hold their value nearly as well as Corvettes. The negative comments you recieved from this forum should have been expected, if you want honest answers regarding Corvettes don't mention your mustang, no one wants to know about it.

what is the equation? a cobra need 100 more horses than a vette to keep up? something like that. if your keeping the IRS than putting money into go fast parts is like pissing in the wind. wheel hop will be your new best friend. to answer your CORVETTE question on the corvette forum yes that is a decent deal. but as far as braging about how much power ur termi puts down and how its "faster" nobody really cares. and if u want to get ur pee pee smacked i'll race ya for pinks. untouchable my car is not but the only cobra i have been beatin by had 825whp..just sayin

I like Mustangs....my son has two and I help him work on them....have always liked them.....YOU are giving their owners a bad name here.
Now, either talk about the Corvette you seem to want or go away.
