Thanks to the posts here and in C6 General, I've finally figured out the source of the clunks in my C5 (after eliminating the rear axle nuts as an issue). I reached under the car and found the right front link pretty stiff, but the LF, LR and RR links can easily be twisted about -- loose enough to suggest the socket joints are toast.
What I haven't sorted out is: which links to get to replace the OE end links. I understand there is now a GM HD end link (same as on the C6?), as well as aftermarket (e.g., LG's end links).
Reasons to prefer any one source over the other? The C5 is a daily driver that sees the *occassional* track day, so there's not really a need for track-oriented suspension pieces on this car.
