Default more confusion

I have been talking to a couple of tire and wheel shops here and it has only added to my confusion. I hope some of you may be able to clear things up a bit. One shop says that the Vossen VVS087 will fit my C5 well and he has priced them well including a set of Toyo Proxen 4 tires. The other shop says that Vossen will not fit my C5 because they were made for C6s and they would rub too much on my car. This being said, they priced me a set of Cray wheels, which they said are made specifically for corvettes with a set of Nitto Invos for about a hundred bucks less than the Vossens. Does anybody have any experience with Vossen, Toyo, or Nitto? I hope someone can shed some light on this subject for me.
Thanks!
BTW, sorry if I don't post a quick thanks or use other little emblems, but I am new to this forum thing and am still learning, appreciate your patience.

Basically a 5 year workmanship and lifetime structural warranty.

Anyway, let me know if you have any questions OP, I'd be more than happy to help you.
Man I can't remember ever getting a 5yr warranty on anything I ever bought. I'm gonna remember this!!
