Escort 9500IX direct connect

I just bought the direct tie in from passport for my escort and I can't figure out which line to tie into for power. Does anyone have any suggestions? Has anyone done this before?

Don't want to use that little cord you can get that plugs into your RV mirror?

I have tried it. The connection isn't that great and the plugs always come out. I couldn't even keep the detector on with that installed. It was a much easier install though!

I originally hooked into one of the fuses under the pass. floor. Just tested to see which one was hot with IGN on and ran the wire up behind the winshield trim on the pass side to my mtg bracket. When I upgraded to the 9500IX I made my own mount from the visor clip screw (copied the one they sell) and bought the invisicord type from EBay. It has worked perfectly and has a small inline fuse built in the wire.
