Default Windshield Wiper Blades?

Are there any blades that work better than others? I just replaced some on my truck and they work well at 35 mph and above but don't stick to the windshiel very well below that speed. Just wanted to see what you Guys are using.

Thanks
Mark

i went with these also about a year ago. my feeling is that initially they were superior to the OEM blades in my opinion. so much so that i replaced the blades on my wife's dd hemi magnum and my dd spyder convertible with them also. they don't seem to have lasted as long as i thought they should and i appreciate that in the sub tropics (where i live) blades usually don't make it a full year before needing replacement. they were pretty costly compared to many of the other choices, but i doubt i would replace any of my current applications with them when they get changed shortly. they just don't seem to be worth it in the long run to me.

Unless you use your Corvette as a DD I wouldn't spend an arm and a leg on blades since most people avoid driving there Corvette in the rain if they have another car.

If you use Rain-x on your windshield, you won't need wipers once you go over 30 mph.

I got the Michelin blades about 4 months ago. Mine is a DD with severial trips to Flaggstaff a year and it can really rain in Flagstaff. I asume Michelin knows a thing or two about rubber..Stay on the windshield at 80 +on FWY. Just my opinion.

I use the Valeo 600s' that were recommended by Consumer Reports. They work really well.

Will have to keep these recommendations in mind. I'm still running the original blades on mine - but it hardly ever gets water on the car except when I wash it.

I had to have a windshield replaced (warranty) on my daughters new Chevy Cruze because the blade came loose on the end of the wiper and scratched it along the entire length of travel. This was the old style of wiper blade. It now has Bosch Icons as do all my vehicles. It has proven to be the best blade of all I've tried. Advance Auto, AutoZone or O'Rielly has them on sale often, buy one get one free, or half price.
