Rough Feeling
My 98 has 112K+ miles and has been a very reialble daily driver. Lately though it has been riding rough as if the roads had gone from table top smooth to 10 grit sandpaper. I had the wheels balanced and aligned and put on new shocks, but the feel is still there. Any suggestions on what to look at next would be greatfully appreciated.

Mine would do it at certain RPM's...I found the problem to be a piece of gravel that got caught between my pipe and underbody.
I noticed vibration and stuff it didnt have before cause the rock was rattling under my feet..lol

Thanks for the ideas. My tires only have about 7K on them and are in good shape. Tire pressure is spot on. I will try to jack up the car this weekend and look at the bushings, but the mechanic (recommended by folks in the local Corvette club and a corvette owner) that installed the shocks said they were still good. While jacked up, will look for debris trapped on the underside.

Your tires might have only seven thousand miles on them - but how old are they? Old tires dry out and get hard, not to mention unsafe. Are there cracks between the tread surfaces?
