pass window and door lock not working

Default pass window and door lock not working

I have 1999 C5 pass side window wont go uoor down also door lock will not work with remote . Any idea whats going on ????

Check the wiring conection in the door according, pillar side. Also maybe the door module.

Sounds like your passenger door control module. (Big plastic box behind your door panel) I remember there are 3 small relays in there but I can't remember exactly which one does what, I think one is lock/unlock, another one is windows up, and the other is windows down. Basically if they all went out at one time I'd check for power cause that seems a little unusual. Otherwise you can either replace the relays (cheap but time consuming and you can't be afraid of a soldering iron), cut the relays open and clean the contact points (cheapest solution but also a little on the difficult side), or just replace the module (pretty expensive from GM but you could probably find one for cheap in the for sale section from someone parting out their car)
