Planning on purchasing House of Wheels 18x12 c6Z06 wheels for the rear of my C5. They are advertised to fit a stock C5. Recommended tire is 335-30x18.
Doing some comparsions of my stock sizes on the C5, the stock rear tire 275-40x18 is 1 inch higher than the stock front tire 245-45x17.
Shouldn't I need a front tire that is now 1 inch shorter than the planned 335-30x18 that is recommend for the rear. What should the recommended size be for the front? I am open to either 17 or 18 rims for the front.
I am planing a supercharger install on my C5 and I am looking for the largest rim/tire combination I can place in the rear.

Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.
I dunno...I just bought 10.5 repro's mounted to 295's and when I look I have about 1/2" clearance before I rub the inner wheel well. You might need to get tubb'ed to run that big a tire/rim combo. Double check and call I would recommend.
For the fronts, most people run 275/35/18 or 275/40/17s. I run the former. You don't need exactly 1" size differential from front to back but you do need some stagger at least.
Just be aware that those 18x12s that I've seen stick way outside the fender. If you like the look, cool, but just be forewarned. In pretty much any case, 18x12s are gonna require fender flares or minitubs to look right, depending on the offset.

Dope
According to an earlier thread from Bob of House of Wheels the 18x12 c6Z06 wheel he sells has a 59 mm back space and will only stick out 1/4 of an inch with a 335-30x18 tire.
He states no tubbing or modifications required. If anyone is running this wheel/tire combination on their c5 and the tire sticks out more than 1/4 of an inch please advise. I don't want to make a major mistake with these wheel/tire sizes.

It's possible but I've seen plenty of pics where they stick out about an inch, maybe it's a different version of the wheel.
