The original poster has a C6, so I assume that he simply posted on the forum that he usually posts. I would further assume that the moderators moved his post to C5 Gen from C6 Gen....since it applies here and not there.

Hey guys i got my first corvette in 07.That is when i learned that the vette had a "C" + A #.I lived on the West coast in the 60Th's,70Th's & 80Th's & we CALLED them corvettes and the engine size.I did not know that my friend's 2002 Z06 was a C5.Hell when i see a older corvette cruising i could not tell you what C# it is,anyway no problems.But i know when i see a C6 because i have 2.
