Default Difference noticed in lowering?

In a previous post about taking some pics it was mentioned that I should lower the front some more. I did and noticed it didn't change much after backing the stock front lowering bolts all the way out.

Is it that big a difference? before and after pics

Looks the same to me? Did you turn the bolt in the right direction? You should atleast be another half inch or so lower.

Looks like it made a slight difference to me - maybe 1/2 of an inch lower? Car looks awesome the way it is!

Yep! I went the right direction and it wouldn't come out anymore. The rubber stop on the bottom of the bolt was all the way up to that fiberglass arm. No lower will she go at all.

Have you driven it a few miles to give it a chance to settle?

You have to cut the rubber stop in half To see a big difference

Yea it IS lower by some, though not as much as I thought it would go. I'm guess it's just that way with 17" front rims and if I went 18" it would fill the wheel well much more. BUT I'm thrilled with the look as it is. Maybe different rims in the next year or two after I finish adding a raised hood, lambo hinges, yada, yada, yada I suppose it will never end....dammit!

Possibly cut the rubber bushings? I lowered mine with lowering bolts and it was about a half inch lower than that with your same size wheels/tires. After I put on 19's with a taller tire(which is 1.5" taller than stock) it filled in the wheel well nicely to about 1.25" of wheel gap.

Your's is looking good, but I maxed mine out in the front without cutting the bushing, and it's lower than that.

I cut the bushing leaving only one layer of rubber.

When you get 18's you're suppose to keep the same tire diameter- 'upsizing' as it's called. You'd buy a 40 series tire instead of 45.

I can tell a slight difference. That's about what I got out of mine by lowering it, a 1/2 inch.

I see a slight difference. Car looks good, but could still be a bit lower as long as you don't traverse a lot of steep driveways.

I got a lowering bolt kit for mine ($45 or so) so I could get the stance I was looking for. The stock bolts only let you go down SO much without altering the structure of the stop (the aforementioned cutting) and I figured for $45 it was worth getting a piece that was engineered to do what I wanted rather than hacking on the factory bits.
