Rim/Tire Sizing Question
Will the following setup work on a lowered 2003 Z06 without spacers, and without any rubbing/brake duct issues?
18x10 fronts with 285/30/18 tires
18x12 rears with 335/30/18 tires

Some guy is selling these claiming he's running them without spacers, without a wide-body kit and no rubbing issues. I was like, huh? Seems too big to me.
He says "You will have to remove the rear drake duct tubing. Not the outside piece, just the inside tube. Besides that, they didnt rub anything on my car. No spacers needed and I DO NOT have mini tubs."
Anyone have a link for a discussion around rim/tire sizing for Z06's? I did some searches but haven't found what I'm looking for yet.

What wheels? They might be custom offset CCW's that fit like a glove.
The 18x12's probably require removing the rear brake ducts though. And possibly the inner fender liner.
Fronts should not be a problem.

Guy's will I have any issues/problems with active handling if I upgrade to the following configuration:
18x9 front with 265/35/18
19x10.5 rear with 305/30/19

That's close to my sizes....F-265-35/18 on 9.5" rims, and R- 325-30/19 on 11" wide wheels. No rubbing or cutting of ducts. The curved part of the sidewall sticks out about 1/4" tops. Depending of overall diameter differences between front and rears, your choices should work fine.

I'll tell you what I have for your reference. I have CCW Classics 18" front and rear. The fronts are 10" with 265/35's and the rear are 11" with 295/35's. My car is also lowered and I have not removed any ducting. My tires do not stick out, they are right at the wheel well edge. IMO they look perfect sitting right at the edge, front and rear. Most importantly for your info, nothing rubs anywhere. CCW does make 12" rears that will fit right just removing the rear brake ducts. Your can get more info on that by going to their website www.ccwheel.com. Hope that helps. Also, John, the owner of CCW can give you any info you need.

I'm running iforged Aero’s (19” on rear with 305/30/19 and 18” on front with 275/35/18) without any rubbing or active handling issues.

They don't rub at all, and the 1/4" they stick out doesn't bother me. Ig at some point I don't like the look, I'll order 2 outer lips to make them smaller. That's the beauty of a 3pc wheel.
