I say wrap it, don't paint it. Wrap can be undone. Use the 3m Dinoc 1080 matte black, you can buy a big piece from vendors or search for a local custom shop that uses it. Cake to use and comes off after 4 years with no residue. It'll impact resale too much to do it in paint. Do it in something that can be undone. Little more money of course, but your gonna make it back when you sell the car versus what you'll take if you rattle can your vette. Some people do plasti-dip for the lower area, but IMO it looks *** up close, especially for the whole rear fascia. Wrap or nothing in my opinion.

If you want to paint the rear check with this site http://www.automotivetouchup.com/. They can help you out with all you need and will answer any questions you have before you even order. I have used then and I will again.

That would be the way to go, except everyone that has tried it said that the one area that you cannot do correctly is the louvers. You would have to slit the vinyl and then it shows where it was cut. Just to many curves in those 4 lower louvers. If anyone has done it I sure would like a write-up on it.

Guys I painted it already and honestly it looks great! I will post pics when I clear it. I want to clear it to protect it from the sun and bird crap.

I wrapped my Halo and used Krylon Fusion Satin Black for the rear fascia

Nah...it can definitely be done. I have wrapped some pretty complex stuff. Look at the new STi hood scoop if you want a wrap challege in one piece....TOUGH.

I can see the difficulty...depends on how much stretch it needs, or you can do a seam and center cut it...wouldn't even be visible unless you had you eyeball touchin it.
