As long as there is no sludge and corrosion in the engine,Hopefully oil and gas have not been sitting in the block for too long.
Just for the record, My friend Al with 4k mi '98, is a major 'vette dude. Car is driven to operating temp. on sunny days at least three times a year by his wife. New battery and FULL service of drivetrain along with state inspection yearly. Car wasn't babied, but not beat when he could drive. Never on a track, and IMHO is an ubercreampuff. Brake fluid and tires would have to be changed for safety. Oh, and its black on black. Will get som pics if you guys are interested but have to wait for my camera batt to come in the mail. Where to post them? Start new thread? Computer newbie, so I'm unsure of forum etiquette.

Thanks for taking the time for your post! I agree that in the end buyer and seller dictate the price. I am just learning to post photos also, this test site helped me. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/testing-68/
That low a mileage and in new car shape, I would try and advertise it in the Dupont Registry. Will probably get the higher price, above book value.......
