Default can't fix my bezel gap problem!!!!

has anyone been able to come up with a way to stop the gap on the right side of the radio Bezel. Mine seems to have gotten worse and it is driving me nuts! Any advice would do.

Do a search on C5 BearsFan or PM him, think he's mentioned some solutions before to that problem.

What I did was wrap some electrical tape around the tab and it now holds just fine.

and cut off the insert pins on this sides
or
try some washers under the the traction control
underneath the bezel on the driver side
this will force the upper right corner to set tighter against the dash as well
just be carful when tightening you dont break the plastic

or i could just say only cure is a new double din bezel

Thanks guys, I will give it a shot. It's piano black and half wrapped with leather and silver stitching. I do not want to have to replace it./ I will post pics when fixed.

Had this problem too, I stuck some washers under the traction control unit last weekend but it appears to be dropping slowly again. I will try removing the pins and taping the tab. Good post!

Look up welt cord. I bought red welt cord and fed it around my console. Fills in the gap and adds a nice trim.

I used gray insulating seal (looks just like the taillight seal vendors sell on the forum) I got at Home Depot. Has sticky to keep it in place.

If your are talking about the gap on the top right side of the radio bezel. Lift up on the bezel just in front of the emergency brake handle and look to see if the gap goes away. I placed a rolled up piece of black auto carpet under the bezel in front of the e brake handle and my bezel has a tight fit. Piece of carpet was about 4 x 4 inches then rolled up. You can use any kind of material that is firm enough to hold the bezel up. Quick fix if it works for you.
