Got a small issue but want to make sure its not somthing bigger then I think when I hit a bump or go over railroad tracks the rear suspension creaks I can't imagine that my shocks are bad at 25,000 miles and the only thing I have done suspension wise are lowering on stock bolts and c6z51 sways and metal endlinks
this isn't good. I have the same issue and you've already replaced the parts I am hoping will fix my problem. hoping to learn from your experience.
have you checked ball joints? any other symptoms?
mine makes a horrible noise after the suspension has gotten wet. if there's no rain and I'm careful with washing for a couple of weeks it all but goes away. then will return if it gets wet again. I have no clue where its coming from. I've used a stethoscope to try to track it down. it sounds like its coming from every moving part at once.
have you checked the ball joints? how many miles on the rest of the suspension?
There are several things that I would check. Put car on a lift and check status of all ball joints and tie rod ends for tightness. Make sure that the bushings in the A arms have not shifted and are in good condition. Make sure that the sway bar bushings are lubed and not binding - this can make an awful noise. Check the movement in the swaybar endlinks for binding. Finally make sure that the halfshaft splines are lubed.
My joints are starting to creak too, my wife says I should lose some weight and work out a little......OH wait your talking about the Vette, mine makes some creaks when I first drive it after it's been sitting for a while but quickly geos away. The other posters gave some good advise, look into what they suggest and I hope it's no big deal. Good luck bro!
