Default TTS vs LGM Long Tubes

Has anyone installed the LGM Lt's, and if so how did it go. Which is better choice for the money? The TTS look very well made. :chevy

Well here is my 2 cents.

First while th LG's are supposed to be the best they should be for $2000. On top of that you have to run their cats and could potentially run into a fail under visual inspection if you have emmissions testing. I feel for a stock car they are overkill and not necessary. They may be best for a racecar but I don't drive one of those everyday..

The TTS are in fact very well made but are a bear to install and are manufactured out of mild steel which I don't like. They are coated but all coatings eventually wear off. $1200 for mild steel is too much dough IMO. Also I truly beleive the Z06 needs a bigger diameter. This is debateable though and some claim more low end torque in exchange for peak HP.

Personally I am going with headers from http://www.stainlessworks.net Excellent quality, 304 low carbon stainless construction and a great reputation. I plan on posting pics of the install and dyno numbers too so stay tuned. I think they are the best value at $999. Even Mike Norris is using them on one of his 427's. Say hello to the underdog in the header game. I truly believe they will be a serious player.

I hope this helps.

Joe
