Default Need some help!!!!!!

I got tinted front and rear tinted LED'S from JW Motoring. I put in the rear tail and brake without any issues. I took the car to a body shop to install the front corners. He tried to put in the connector to stop the hyper flash and coudn't figure out where to hook it up. So he didn't put that on.

Now I have a real problem, when I turn on the front corner lights the headlights pop up (they don't come on though.) And when I turn them off they go down and one side has a bad shatter after they go down like it is still trying to drive it down. Continues to shatter for a few seconds and then cuts off.

What did he do and what do I have to do to get it fixed?

Sounds like you have a bad motor gear. Swap those out for brass units. I doubt this was related to what he did.

The directions for the hyperflash harness are on our site and are fairly easy to follow http://www.shop.jwmotoring.com/produ...2&categoryId=4

U won't find a better vendor on here than JW; he'll get u straightened out. If your body shop guy couldn't figure out a hyper flash harness dont ever take ur car back there... I agree that the chattering sounds like the nylon gears in your headlight motor are worn (common issue). Before you throw parts at it though make sure all your electrical connections are tight and nothing is pinched.

It does sound like the plastic gears in your headlight motors have gone bad. Replace them and see if that cures your issues.

Thanks for calling me JW and giving me something too look at concerning this problem. I'm just confused why the headlights are doing this after the guy was under the dash looking for the connector to install the hyper flash harness.

I'll order the brass gears for the headlights and go from there.

Love the tinted lens and they look great. Couple of my friends want to get them now. I'll post a few pic's later showing the results.
