Car won't start...Possible starter???
My car won't start on its own but will bump start. It gave me no signs on a worn starter tho but its bout that time at 90k for small things like this to happen. It wont even try to turn over on its own. Any other possible ideas what it could be before I buy a new starter?-Mike
Also, the solenoid connection on the starter. I've seen several cars that the bakelite around the large post (with the red wire) had charcoaled and the post would twist. Check the tightness of that connection. Perhaps coincidentally, maybe not, all the cars where I have seen that had headers.

I would always start with the battery. I have seen many instances where a battery has tested well and still been unable to start the Corvette due to it actually being bad. My first course of action would be to start with checking out the battery. I hope this helps and have a great weekend.
